Winter Ice: Blue and Silver Dangle Bracelet

Winter again lol! I am definitely ready for it to snow and make the world look amazing this year. I've had winter wonder land stuck in my head, and thus I made this new bracelet. This metal dangle bracelet has a mixture of crystal and glass beads as well as some funky sphere charms. It's a comfortable 7 inches long and closes with a lobster clasp.

I love this bracelet a lot, so much that I kept telling myself, "I'm not going to keep it." I hope you like it as much as I do. Its a little difficult to tell from the pictures, but there are a few larger crystal beads that are kind of a dusty/silvery purple color which MAKES this bracelet in my opinion. Dangle bracelets are the most fun to make, even though there is quite a bit of time put into it since I have to attach a bead to every chain link.
As with all my posts, please leave feedback about this item in the comments below. I'd love to know what you think, and to hear your ideas on future products from my shop, E.Blackie Designs.

Trendy Off-White Hemp Choker with Blue Ice Beads

jewelry, necklace, choker, blue, glass, beads, Celtic, hemp, handmade
When I think of winter, I think of icicles and snowflakes. This is a 13.5 inch long handmade hemp choker, I designed during this last summer when I was yearning for a break from the heat. I kept thinking of ice crystals gathering on my window right in mid winter. I think of this necklace as a clash between summer and winter. As with most of my jewelry, there is definitely Celtic influence in the knot design. It is extremely comfortable to wear, due to the fact that I made sure to use the softest hemp I could find. I have very sensitive skin, so I'm always putting comfort high on my priority list.

The way the choker clasps together is kinda cool. One end is a loop that has a few sliding knots at its base to tighten it, and the other end looks kinda like a little man with a head and two arms. You put the knotted (man) end into the loop and tighten. As with all hemp, it is very durable. I hope you like this piece as much as I do. Please, as always, feel free to leave feedback. Do you like the design and the colors? I have it listed for $18.00. Is that a good price? What are some color combinations you think would be cool? Thanks for reading and feel free to stop by my SHOP and see my other items.

My Quilted Christmas Patchwork Bag/Purse

quilted christmas bag
Christmas is coming!! This bag ($50) is the perfect thing to get you into the holiday spirit. It is a handmade, quilted purse measuring 14" wide by 11" tall. It is soft, but very sturdy since there is quilt batting and interfacing. I used a really cute wavy stitch on my machine to quilt the bag. There are three 5 inch pockets on the inside to hold your phone, iPod, etc. The strap is 1.5 inches wide and cushioned with quilt batting to make it more comfortable. I re-enforced the seams on the straps to make sure that it can handle lots of weight. You close the bag using the drawstrings, but I actually like leaving it open and having the bows on the side. Since the top is fluted from the drawstrings, I find that I don't really need to close it.
This bag was a ton of fun to make! I'm planning on having more versions of this up for sale in my shop soon.

Christmas bag

I can't emphasize enough about how fun this was to make. I am definitely in the Christmas spirit now! I was a little nervous about using my machine's wavy stitch on this project, since I've never done it before, but, I practiced a lot before hand and it came out splendiforous...oh burn spell check. Let's see you fix that spelling lol....-clears throat- anywho...
Christmas bagThe bag came out so beautifully, I know I'm going to play with some more of my machine's crazy stitches on the next one. I actually had a durp moment while I was cutting this thing out. I ended up cutting twice as many pieces that I needed, except for the green stripey parts. So, I went to the fabric store and bought some matching red fabric and I'm planning on doing a red version of this bag. Once again, please leave feedback on my blog about this item. Is the price right? Do you like the style? What can I change to make it better?

Christmas bag

Lavender and Cream Bag - So elegant and cute!

Hey guys! I just wanted to share with you one of my items in my etsy store e.Blackie Designs. It is currently priced at $25.

This is a 100% cotton hand-made mini tote with gold ribbon drawstrings. Its perfect for holding makeup, a camera, or anything small. The bag is 7 inches tall and about 6-6.5 inches wide (depending on whether its tied up or not). It has a cute applique design using purple and off white fabric with light green buttons. The insert is reinforced and machine washable, just in case there are spills. The bag itself could probably be machine washed, but considering the applique, I'd recommend treating it like your dedicates. I added interfacing to the bag itself and the straps to make it more durable. You can definitely tell its strong when you feel the drapey, yet sturdy fabric. All the seems are hidden so you won't have an ugly, frayed mess on the inside.

This bag pretty much represents me. Purple is my favorite color, especially dusty purple paired with cream. I had a ton of fun putting the applique on, even though it took a while. I don't think the bag would be half as cute without those flowers :3. I have other bags in my shop that are drawstring as well, but have very different color schemes. A lot of people like the Asian inspired one.

What do you think about it? Is the price right? Do you like the style? What are some things I could do better? How are the pictures?

Thank you all for your feedback and for supporting my store!
